English Weightlifting Competition

We wanted to start the week off this morning by saying congratulations to performance team member, Alex Pownall for competing in the English Weightlifting Championships at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Shropshire on Saturday.

With eight competitors within his group for under 23's, 62 - 69Kg range, Alex finished fourth by lifting a total of 190kg which qualifies him for the British Championships in May.

We have been granted special access to the LEAP park for this month's Off The Wall, so take advantage of this and meet at Westminster Academy (255 Harrow Road, W2 5EZ) at 12 midday on Sunday 26th February. This will be one of the only times free access will be granted and no induction is needed for this one off, so make sure you are there!

We've added many of the popular locations within London but have also included images to all of the spots too. We feel that the photos really help show what training you can do at the spots and what to actually look for.

Parkour Generations Photo Shoot 2012

For the last few weeks the Parkour Generations team have been replenishing the photo archive with up-to-date action and profile pictures. We were seriously lacking in photos to use from many of the new members of the team so therefore invited some very talented photographers to have six full days of shoots.

Half-Term Parkour Camp

Starting tomorrow (Monday 13th February) the regular half-term Parkour Camp for kids is back on at Westminster Academy in Royal Oak. For 8 to 18 year olds, the camp is a week long drop-in course from 10am until 1pm and is a training-packed afternoon of a little bit of hard-work, a portion of playing games and a large slice of movement fun.
